Falmouth...... again!!

Who would've thought that a train journey could create such excitement? Well it did when we had our latest jaunt to Falmouth because we decided to go on the train instead of in the car! We had a table to ourselves and the kids made it into 'base camp' and got ALL their stuff out ready for the journey!


We did spend some time at the beach, but the weather did not want to accomodate long lazy days in the sunshine and it was COLD! However on one trip down to Swanpool beach we did come across this swan and signets at the side of the road having a little outing..... Evie wanted to go and 'stroke' the signets but I managed to warn her off as the swan looked like it was quite prepared for a fight if anyone came near it's brood!

Noah's Ark Zoo Farm

We had such a fun day today at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm... it's the kind of place you have to drag the kids away from even if you have been there since opening time! The weather was fantastic and the baby animals were just adorable....

Evie: when I went to Noah's Ark zoo Farm I fed a Lamb and also a Goat. We collected two ostrich feathers and some sheep wool.

Isaac: At Noas Ark Zoo (or Animal) farm we (Isaac(myself) and Evie(my sister) ) touched a boa constricter called Bruce (sounds a bit like brute which in turn sounds a bit like brute strength which is what boa constricters posses) he felt a bit sticky, but quite nice, although we weren't allowed to hold all of him at one time because he was too big.

Visa News

We heard today that Ballarat & Queen's Grammar School has been approved as our sponsor so now it is up to us to fill in our part of the visa application and submit it. One step closer.....hurray!

The Noise

Isaac was really keen to be part of a project which our church helped to organise called The Noise which happened this weekend in north Bristol. The basic principal was showing God's love in practical ways which meant that loads of teams went out and about into the local community and blessed people by doing really practical tasks (if you want to read about all the stuff that happened have a look at the website on http://www.northbristolnoise.org.uk/). Isaac spent the day with the kid's team!

Isaac: first as a team (picture above) we went and cut the brambles on the railway bridge and also cleaned it of rubbish, then we had tuck and got back to work. Later, we went back to St. Stevens church, had lunch, went to the fun afternoon, and then went home. Overall, I loved it (even though I got some nettle stings).
