beautiful Bruton.......

it has to be said that we love our days out.....
finding new places to explore is something we all enjoy......
{especially as one of our quests whenever we go out is to
 try and find somewhere to have morning {or afternoon} tea
 - it can sometimes be quite a challenge but we
are usually victorious in our quest and have found some
great tea shops/cafes/bakeries.....}

our wanderings recently took us to a village called Bruton
where we decided to have morning tea in a place called
the old chapel.....
it was a lovely building,
with a lovely pizza oven......

and a lovely bunch of baubles hanging from the ceiling....
{what is the collective noun for a bunch of baubles I wonder?}.....

it was a delightful spot to fotify ourselves
with coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cakes.....

and then we headed off to explore the rest of the village.....
{i had taken the opportunity to wear my new wellies
for this adventure..... aren't they splendid?}

we splish-splashed in the river.....

some of us more than others......
{what a surprise that evie got sodden.....}

and then we took a little walk to the dovecote on the hill.....

 where we flew pocket kites.....
because it was a good kite flying day.....
and that's another thing we enjoy doing.....

happy days.....

Love the look of that cafe. All that wine too. Whole village looks beautiful.
