it's important to keep busy I reckon....
well, it's important to keep the kids busy during their Christmas holiday at least,
lest they spend too much time feeling the parcels beneath the Christmas tree
in a vain attempt to guess what it is that people have sent for them to open on
Christmas day....
so here they are busily stacking a load of logs into the shed where they will be
kept nice and dry until the time comes for them to keep us
nice and toasty during the Christmas festivities
{actually, you only get pictures with evie in because isaac kept
telling me that he didn't want his photo on the blog!!}

There's something very satisfying about seeing a logpile - whatever Winter can throw at you, you know it'll be rebuffed. And how strange to see Evie all togged up in December!
